Nagai Co., Ltd has consistently worked in housing and construction ever since we began selling lumber in 1772. Our mission is to improve the quality of architecture by providing environmentally friendly, highly functional, and well-designed building materials at affordable prices.

The following three concepts are of particular importance to us:

We plan, manufacture, and sell products made using only natural wood and other genuine materials.

I would like to improve living standards not only in Japan, but around the world.

I visited Thailand twenty years ago. Thailand at that time was undergoing dramatic economic development, and there was an excitement in the air of the city. With people who are kind and open to foreigners and a rich cuisine, Thailand appealed to me, and I have secretly wished to work in Thailand someday.

I became president of Nagai Co., Ltd. in 2018. When we decided to expand business from Japan to the world, the first place I chose was Thailand. I visited Thailand after many years, this time from the point of view of working in the construction business. I saw the rich color aesthetic that incorporates everything from the chic to the vivid, the wide range of interior space designs, and high-quality materials such as Thai silk.

And I felt that our high-quality, genuine building materials would be well-received in Thailand.
